Storage planning goes beyond the battery.

The most useful storage discussions begin with the site and its power path.

Start with the purpose.

A storage system selected only by nominal capacity can leave the important questions unresolved. The operating requirement must explain when energy is needed, what constrains the site and which use cases take priority.

Locate the interfaces.

The connection point, power conversion, site protection and controls determine how the equipment participates in the wider electrical system. Record these interfaces early, including ownership and the information required from each party.

Specify the operating scenario.

A normal operating day, a supply interruption and a maintenance period present different requirements. Discuss each relevant scenario with the project engineers before fixing the equipment scope.

Use the brief to guide selection.

A clear load profile and interface schedule make supplier conversations more productive. They also make it easier to identify assumptions that need verification before procurement.

Bring the next project into focus.

Start with the site, the demand and the delivery constraints. We can help frame the next decisions.
